Amiri Construction were proud to be represented by Directors Kevin Lendon and Neil Cole, Project Manager Andrew McArthur and Commercial Manager Dave Moore as Professor Joanna Haigh officially opened the new £4.4m Science Centre at Barton Peveril College, Eastleigh on 4th December 2015.

An eminent physicist, past President of the Royal Meteorological Society and member of the Royal Society, Professor Haigh was impressed with the new three storey building that offers an excellent learning environment for each of the major scientific disciplines, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, split – unsurprisingly – onto a floor each!

The new Science Centre is the latest in the College’s redevelopment programme and completes the northern boundary of the Nobel Courtyard created by the existing Rose theatre, the Amiri-built Nobel Building and the new Science Centre. It also provides a fitting view into the campus from the entrance onto Tennyson Road, highlighting the quality of the redevelopment and showing what a commitment the College has to providing the best possible education and social environment for its students. Amiri Construction Director Neil Cole is pictured below with Professor Joanna Haigh.
